Tempest (Lindisfarne Castle - Northumberland)
Lindisfarne Castle is an iconic landmark dominating the skyline of Holy Island. The castle sits upon a whinstone hill known as Beblowe, its steep sides offering protection from attack by the Scots and Norsemen in days gone by.
This landmark sits high above the waterline and is immune from the crashing seas below, however, sat high on its rocky plateau it exposed to the immense power of the winter storms that brew and build off shore over the cold North Sea.
